Cathy has served her community in leadership roles all her life.

Since retiring from the postal service, Cathy has remained deeply involved in her community through local politics and civic leadership. She has served as:

• President of National Postmasters of the United States, Florida Chapter

• Rutherford County Democratic Party Chair

• Treasurer for multiple campaigns

• State Executive Committee Chairwoman for District 13

• District 4 Chair of the Tennessee Democratic County Chairs Association

• Delegate to the 2024 Democratic National Convention

• Vice President Rutherford County Democratic Women

• Murfreesboro Citizen’s Academy 2025

Some of her community service includes:

• Friends of the Linebaugh Library, eBay store

• Nourish Food Bank

• Member of Murfreesboro Renters Assembly

In her spare time, Cathy has an antique booth and loves to travel.
